One of the most import things a notary must do if they want to be a Loan Signing Agent is to take the NNA Loan Signing Exam and have a Criminal Background check completed once a year. As notaries and Loan Signing Agents we handle client's very personal and confidential
Loan Documents. We have to keep them in our possession throughout the loan signing process and delete all documents once the loan signing is completed. All this takes place on a secure server. The Criminal Background check is very important so signing companies and signers know they can trust us.
I completed and passed my NNA exam last evening and just submitted my paperwork online for my background check. I've found that it only take a day or two to received the results. I've always passed and I have no worries that it will be that way this time.
I'll update my Blog once I receive the results.
